Sweater weather is here!

So September is a few hours away and it’s already sweater weather here.  Actually this last week of August has been cold, wet and dark.  I guess there won’t be an Indian summer this year.  Since the rain started I’ve been itching to cast on for my second Central Park Hoodie in the beautiful Tatamy Tweed that I ordered especially for it.  I am excited about trying out this yarn as well as knitting another one of this beautiful hoodie, the cablely goodness is going to look great in this yarn.  Yummy no-sheep tweed yarn, isn’t it purdy?  Well before I start casting on for this sweater I am making myself finished my Cables and O’s cardi that has been sitting on my needles for about a year now! A whole year wow I think this is my oldest knitting ufo. Well I’ve been knitting on this cardi for a few days now and it’s going every so slowly but I love this sweater and the yarn I chose for it. The yarn is Knitpick Cotlin in Moroccan Red and I find it a little hard to photograph because of the intense red. Even though this sweater seems like I’ve been knitting on it for a century, I can’t wait to finish it because I love this sweater. I am about two inches from the armhole shaping yay!  Not to far now.  Just keep knitting, just keep knitting…
