More precious than diamonds

I was just introduced to Emily’s blog by Knit & Purl Mama‘s (the Secret Pal hostess with the mostest and the owner of Robyn’s Nest) Feb 1th post in regards to the contest Emily is having. I wasn’t really interested in the contest (well just a wee bit). It was the pattern that she designed to help raise money for charity and what charity she had chosen. I’m all about the charity knitting, but due to my allergies I find it much easier to purchase patterns that the monies are being donated to a charity than actually knitting something for a charity.

Emily of Skyline Chilly is offering up the wonderful pattern called Pearl’s Diamond Socks and donating the proceeds to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in the honour of her Aunt Pearl’s birthday. This is a cause that is close to me as well as Emily. Her Aunt Pearl has been fighting Leukemia for a long time and my cousin, TW has been in remission from Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma for many years now.

So go and purchase your copy of this great pattern it’s only $5.00 USD (but every pattern purchased helps!) and help spread the word! What are you waiting for go on, you can even buy two copies that what I did — one for me and one for a knitting pal!
